Spring E. Opara | Supreme Challenger of the Status Quo!


Spring Opara, Co-Owner, is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley holding a BS degree in Political Science. She served 5+ years in the US Air Force and has traveled extensively. Spring is a published, lesbian of color, writer of erotic fiction and has a short story, Sex and Chocolate in the 2005 anthology, Ultimate Lesbian Erotica, published by Alyson Publishing.

Spring was a cast member of Liquid Fire Productions' 2005 performance, Legacies Untied, Lust Unleashed, which opened the 2005 National Queer Arts Festival in San Francisco. Spring also performed an excerpt from the performance with other cast members at the 2005 San Francisco Gay Pride celebration. Due to her initiation into the fire, Spring lent her creative talents to the Femme 2006 Conference, held in San Francisco and performed an original piece entitled, “976-Finger-Fucking-Femmes…How May I Assist You?” which looked at the duality of power in the feminine form.

She considers herself to be an intelligent; sexy-cute; creative, gender-fluid, lesbian who enjoys writing erotic fiction; dancing; languages; intense eyes; laughing; toys, talking dirty; shape shifting vixens; strong hands; the Arts; moon-gazing; and girl-watchin'. Takeya Trayer originally from the little town of Steelton, PA, lived and played college basketball in Philadelphia, PA. Takeya graduated with a B.A in Fine Art from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, an A.S. in 3d-Computer Animation at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, and is currently finishing up her M.S in 3D-Character Animation at the Academy of Art San Francisco.

Takeya explains why she hates labels, “Don’t put me in NO box!! I have a hard time filling out questionaires. I am a little bit of everything. I like what I like and I don't like to be defined or confined to someone else's label or stereo type because so many people have a hard time seeing anything beyond that label.”

She is passionate about life, artistic expression (music, painting, writing, dancing, film, animation) friendship, love (every kind), knowledge, experience, not living with regrets, people, keeping my body in shape, sex and family.

Takeya, loves hard, lives hard, works hard, and PLAYS harder. That is what keeps her creative juices flowing. She is finishing up her masters and refining her skills while residing in Oakland, Ca with hopes to start her career in the animation industry this fall.
